Driving New Venture Sustainability: A Study Based on Configuration Theory and Resource Orchestration Theory

New ventures often face the challenge of resource scarcity, and how to overcome constraint problem improve new venture sustainability has been a long-standing concern scholars practitioners. Most existing studies have explored impact on financial performance single factor, few focused configuration effect multiple factors sustainability. In this paper, based theory orchestration theory, we use fuzzy-set qualitative comparative analysis (fsQCA) with sample 189 entrepreneurs explore mechanisms driving effects entrepreneurial decision-making logic, bundling, environmental uncertainty The empirical results show that paths achieve high are diverse equivalent, effectuation is core antecedent condition in all paths. There four conditional configurations drivers ventures, including dual-logic integration, market-driven means–resource innovation emerging markets, resource-rich or resource-creating integration under dual logic.
